The plan goes awry when , Marissa’s jealous boyfriend, discovers Ryan is still in town. A confrontation at the model home escalates into a physical fight, during which a candle is accidentally knocked over, starting a fire that destroys the multi-million dollar property. Despite the conflict, Luke returns to save an unconscious Ryan from the flames before fleeing. Both Ryan and Luke are ultimately arrested for arson when Ryan returns to the Cohen house with Luke.
