Set in the mid-2000s and based on true events, the narrative centers on three main figures:

Jang Dong-su ( Ma Dong-seok ), a brutal mob leader who is randomly attacked by a serial killer. Surviving the assault but suffering a massive "loss of face" among his peers, he vows personal revenge.

Kang Kyung-ho ( Kim Sung-kyu ), a mysterious psychopath who uses a "rear-end collision" tactic to lure victims out of their cars before stabbing them to death.
