In the Airwolf pilot, "Shadow of the Hawke," reclusive pilot Stringfellow Hawke is coerced into retrieving a stolen, advanced helicopter from Libya. He strikes a deal with the CIA's Archangel to find his missing brother in exchange for recovering the weapon. After killing the designer, Moffet, and securing the chopper, Hawke hides it in a secret location, holding it hostage to ensure his brother is located.
