Doll | Prima

is a Japanese multimedia project created by Key (Visual Arts) that explores themes of self-discovery, hope, and the scars of war. Set in a fictional imperial capital, the story follows a group of "automata"—autonomous mechanical dolls—who were originally built as soldiers for a massive war. Now that peace has returned, these "machines with human hearts" work at the Kuronekotei Cafe , serving patrons with a smile while searching for their own purpose in a world that no longer requires them for combat.
