Kabir, a former army officer, takes a job as a teacher at a remote houseboat school in Kashmir to save it from closure. While there, he finds a notebook left behind by the previous teacher, Firdaus. Through her personal entries, he begins to understand her life, struggles, and values, eventually falling in love with her despite never having seen her.
