The file wp-includes/wlwmanifest.xml is a standard WordPress configuration file for Windows Live Writer that, while not a direct vulnerability, is frequently used by bots to identify and target WordPress sites [1.1]. While harmless on its own, it can be removed from site headers via functions.php or blocked using .htaccess to reduce a website's footprint against automated scanners [1.1].
