This has been one of my favorite songs for years. I contacted Rick back in 2002 about collaborating, partly because I had sung this song so many times. The recording is from Rick's Praise Classics 2 CD. - Elton, September 12, 2009

Lyrics

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Much like the characters in the show, the "Coke Boys" emphasize the importance of the "family" unit over individual ego.

The "Money Heist" theme goes beyond mere aesthetics. It reflects the overarching narrative of Montana’s "Mac & Cheese" era and his personal journey from the streets of the Bronx to international stardom. The lyrics frequently touch upon:

Mimicking the high-stakes rewards of a heist, the songs celebrate the financial fruits of the grind.

The production on the mixtape is expansive, ranging from the hard-hitting drill beats of New York to the melodic, atmospheric trap sounds that have become Montana’s signature. By collaborating with DJ Drama, French Montana tapped into the nostalgia of the mixtape era, giving the project an "event" feel that is often missing in the age of streaming-first releases. The inclusion of the "Money Heist" intro and thematic interludes further immerses the listener in a cinematic experience. Conclusion

Artists like A$AP Rocky, Vory, and Kodak Black provide veteran presence.

Rising talents like Chinese Kitty, Kenzo B, and the late Chinx (appearing via posthumous verses) ensure the project bridges the gap between hip-hop’s past and future. Themes of Ambition and Resilience

Tracks often delve into the complexities of navigating the music industry while maintaining street credibility. Sound and Production

The mixtape released in early 2023, represents a pivotal moment in French Montana’s career, serving as both a showcase for his Coke Boys roster and a testament to his enduring relevance in the hip-hop industry. This project, hosted by DJ Drama as part of the iconic Gangsta Grillz series, blends the high-stakes cinematic energy of the popular Netflix show Money Heist with the gritty, celebratory street anthems that have defined the Coke Boys brand for over a decade.
