According to the rumors, Pixer wasn't just a photo editor; it was a "reality refiner" developed by a disgraced tech genius who claimed the software could see the data hidden between the pixels of any digital photograph.
Elias leaned in, his nose inches from the glass. He used the zoom tool. The software didn't pixelate; it generated more detail. He zoomed in on the man’s face until he could see the texture of the skin. It looked like static. Then, the man in the photo turned his head.
