Batman agrees to the hostage exchange to save the player. After being taken to Freeze's climate-controlled hideout, the Dynamic Duo reveals they have anticipated the villain's tactics by wearing "Special Thermal V Long Underwear" to resist the extreme cold. They ultimately outwit the villain and his henchmen to restore order to Gotham. Following their capture in the previous episode, Batman and Robin are rushed to Gotham City Hospital, where they are thawed out using the "Super-Hypotherm-De-Icifier Chamber Mark VII".
